Sashastra Seem Bal, SSB, Candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect. Applications are invited from male Indian citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for recruitment to the post of Constable (Driver) in SSB. Constable (Driver) :No of Post : 295 posts (SC-133,ST-20,OBC-17,UR-125),Pay Scale : Rs. 5200 to 20200 Grade Pay Rs.2000 3200-4900/-,Age Limit : 18-28 years, The upper age relaxation for Government servants is upto 35 Years.Essential Qualification & Experience : Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board/university. Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Physical Standard :(a) Height : 170 Cms & 165 Cms for candidates belongings to hill areas.
(b) Chest :- General Scheduled Tribes Unexpended 80 Cms 76 Cms Expanded 85 Cms 81 Cms
(c) Weight : Corresponding to height.(D) Eye sight :The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.(e) Medical Examination :The candidates declared qualified in Driving/ Technical Test will be called for Medical Examination as per the vacancies, strictly on the basis of merit.
