Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), A Scientific Society of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt.of India is looking for R&D engineers in the area of Free & Open Source Software (FOSS) to join a team of professionals! C-DAC provides conducive environment and ambience for research and development with state-of-the art laboratories and computing facilities. All the posts are purely on Contract basis for a period of 3 years. A. Member Technical Staff (E-III) :No of Post : 02 posts,Scale of Pay : Rs.15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs.7600/-,Educational Qualification :a) First Class in B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 7 years R&D experience ORb) First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication with 5 years R&D experience in relevant discipline ORc) Ph.D in Computer Science/Information Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication with 4 years R&D experience in relevant field.Age Limit : Not more than 30 years as on 1.9.2009.B. Member Technical Staff (E-II) :No of Post : 04 posts,Scale of Pay : Rs.15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs.6600/-,Educational Qualification :a) First Class in B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 4 years R&D experience ORb) First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication with 2 years R&D experience in relevant discipline ORc) Ph.D in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication.Age Limit : Not more than 30 years as on 1.9.2009.C. Member Technical Staff (E-I) :No of Post : 09 posts,Scale of Pay : Rs.15600 to 39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-Educational Qualification :a) First Class in B.E. / B. Tech/MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication ORb) First Class in M.E./M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Telecommunication.Age Limit : Not more than 30 years as on 1.9.2009.
