The Union Public Service commission, UPSc, will hold the Combined Medical Services Examination 2010 on 17th January, 2010. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
Nationality :A candidate must be either: (a) A Citizen of India, or (b) A subject of Nepal, or (c) A subject of Bhutan, or (d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or (e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
1. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: No of Post: 250 posts,2. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service: No of Post: 20 posts,3. Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services: No of Post: 80 posts,4. Medical Officers in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi: No of Post: 26 posts,5. General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council: No of Post: 11 posts,Age Limit: A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st January, 2010.Educational Qualification : A candidate should have passed M.B.B.S. Examination.
How to apply for above post:Application form can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Ooffices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-, apply on plain A4 size paper (typed or handwriten) in English in the prescribed format supescribing the envelope. All applicants must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post only or by Courier, on or before 05.10.2009. For candidates of far-flung areas and abroad the last date is 12th October, 2009.
Fees: Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.
