Centralised Accident and Trauma Services, CATS, Applications are invited for appointment of Assistant Ambulance Officers on contract basis in Centralised Accident Trauma Services, initially for a period of one year, The selection criteria would be written examination and interview. Assistant Ambulance Officer :No of Post : 63 posts (UR-35, SC-10, OBC-18),Essential Qualification & Experience : 10 + 2 with Certificate Course (9 months duration) for Pre Hospital Trauma Technician (PTT), approved by Govt. of India/Science graduate with minimum 50% marks/The candidate must possess at least one year old valid driving license for LMV category vehicles, as on 30.10.2009.Scale of Pay : Rs. 16000/- in training period and Rs. 16500/- after training completed, No other allowances shall be payable.Age Limit : Between 19 years to 27 years as on 30.10.2009. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC and 03 years for OBC candidates. For other categories the age relaxation shall be as per instructions issued by the Govt. from time to time.
How to apply for above post:The duly filled application forms along with the requisite documents must be submitted to the office of Centralised Accident & Trauma Services, Bela Road, Yamuna Pusta, Near Vijay Ghat, Delhi – 110006, on or before 30.10.2009 at CATS office. CATS shall not be responsible for any postal delays.
Fees: Application Fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 200/- for General & OBC Candidates, must be submitted in the form of Bank Draft / Pay Order payable in Delhi. SC candidates are exempted from Fee.

The Union Public Service commission, UPSc, will hold the Combined Medical Services Examination 2010 on 17th January, 2010. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
Nationality :A candidate must be either: (a) A Citizen of India, or (b) A subject of Nepal, or (c) A subject of Bhutan, or (d) A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India. or (e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
1. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: No of Post: 250 posts,2. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service: No of Post: 20 posts,3. Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services: No of Post: 80 posts,4. Medical Officers in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi: No of Post: 26 posts,5. General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council: No of Post: 11 posts,Age Limit: A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st January, 2010.Educational Qualification : A candidate should have passed M.B.B.S. Examination.
How to apply for above post:Application form can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Ooffices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/-, apply on plain A4 size paper (typed or handwriten) in English in the prescribed format supescribing the envelope. All applicants must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069″ either by hand or by Post/Speed Post only or by Courier, on or before 05.10.2009. For candidates of far-flung areas and abroad the last date is 12th October, 2009.
Fees: Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.
