Government Medical College & Hospital, GMCH, DMER, Invites Application for various positions An interview for filling up the following vacant posts on tenure basis will be held on 11.11.2009. at 11.30 AM in the office of Director Principal (Room No.210), 1st Floor, Block – D (Hospital Building), GMCH, Chandigarh: - 1. Senior Resident : No of Post : 40 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience : Postgraduate Medical Degree i.e. (M.D./M.S./M.D.S./D.M./M.Ch/ DNB) OR equivalent in the concerned specialty, (recognized by MCI and registered either with Indian Medical Council or State Medical Council). If such candidates are not available in any particular speciality, those with postgraduate diploma can be considered. Age Limit : 33 years and in case of post doctoral degree holders is 35 years as on 01.01.2009. Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 (With initial start of Rs.18750/-) carrying Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- + allowances as admissible as per orders of the Government issued from time to time.2. Central casualty services : No of Post : 05 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience : Postgraduate Medical Degree i.e. (M.D./M.S./M.D.S./D.M./M.Ch/ DNB) OR equivalent in the concerned specialty, (recognized by MCI and registered either with Indian Medical Council or State Medical Council). If such candidates are not available in any particular speciality, those with postgraduate diploma can be considered. Age Limit : 33 years and in case of post doctoral degree holders is 35 years as on 01.01.2009. Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 (With initial start of Rs.18750/-) carrying Grade Pay Rs. 6600/- + allowances as admissible as per orders of the Government issued from time to time.3. Demonstrator : No of Post : 33 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience : MBBS (PG degree/diploma holders shall be preferred)/ M.Sc (Medical) in concerned specialty for non-medical persons for Demonstrators. Age Limit : 33 years and in case of post doctoral degree holders is 35 years as on 01.01.2009. Scale of Pay : Rs.10300 to 34800 (With initial start of Rs. 13450/-) carrying grade pay Rs. 5000/- + NPA (for Medical Graduates only, if admissible).4. Emergency medical officers : No of Post : 03 posts, Essential Qualification & Experience : MBBS (PG degree/ diploma holders shall be preferred)/ M.Sc (Medical) in concerned specialty for non-medical persons for Demonstrators. Age Limit : 30 years for MBBS and 33 years for PG degree holder as on 01.01.2009. Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600 to 39100 carrying grade pay Rs. 5400/- + NPA if admissible.
