Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, IPC, is an Autonomous Body, set up under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare primarily with the objective of periodically bringing out new edition of the Indian Pharmacopoeia, National Formulary of India and other related tasks such as preparing, certification and distribution of Reference Substances. The Commission invites applications for filling up of the following posts from competent for this posts: I. Principal Scientific Officer : No of Post : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade pay Rs. 7600/-, Age Limit : A Candidate should not exceed 50 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Bio-chemistry / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Pharmacology / Microbiology from recognized University, with Ph. D. in any of the related fields. 10 years of experience including 5 years at senior level in the area of pharmaceuticals;II. Senior Scientific Officer : No of Post : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-, Age Limit : A Candidate should not exceed 40 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : Post Graduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Bio-chemistry / Biotechnology / Chemistry / Pharmacology / Microbiology from recognized University, 07 years of experience in the area of pharmaceuticals;III. Store Officer : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600 to 39100 Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-, Age Limit : A Candidate should not exceed 35 years. Essential Qualification & Experience : i) Graduate degree in any discipline preferably in Commerce; ii) PG Diploma in Material Management/retails management of related field from recognized institution with not less than three years of experience in similar capacity in any Government / Autonomous Body / Reputed private organization; and iii) Good knowledge of computer application.IV. Stenographer, Gp. I : No of Post : 01 post on deputation, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 to 34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-, Age Limit : A Candidate age not applicable. Essential Qualification & Experience : Graduate degree in Science, Arts or Commerce; ii) Speed in short hand of 100 w.p.m. Typing speed of 40 w.p.m. (English); and iii) Knowledge of computer applications especially MS Office and other programmes.
