Heavy Water Board, Applications are invited for the Technical Officer, Scientific Officer, Station Officer posts. If you are selected against this advertisement are likely to be posted in Heavy Water Board / any of the Heavy Water Plants, but are also liable to serve in any part of India and in any constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy as may be required in public interest. I. Technical Officer/C (Safety) : No of Post: 02 posts (UR-1 , SC-1), Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E. / M.E. degree in Safety Engineering with 60% marks OR B.E. in Chemical/Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering with 60% marks AND Diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by Central/ State Governments. Factory experience in Industrial Safety desirable. Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 (PB-3). Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009.
II. Technical Officer/ C (Chemical) : No of Post: 06 posts (OBC-3, SC-1 , ST-2), Essential Qualification & Experience : B.E./B.TECH (Chemical) with 60% marks from any recognized university. Scale of Pay : Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 (PB-3). Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009. III. Scientific Officer/C (Medical-General Medicine) : No of Post: 01 post for uR, Essential Qualification & Experience : 1. M.B.B.S. + relevant Post Graduate Diploma including DRM or equivalent OR 2. M.B.B.S. with One Year Experience. Scale of Pay : Scale of Pay : Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 (PB-3). Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009.
IV. Station Officer/ A : No of Post: 02 posts (OBC-1, SC-1), Essential Qualification & Experience : Passed SSC or equivalent + Certificate of Station Officer’s course of the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. Or Graduate of the Institute of Fire Engineering, India / London. 2 OF 10, Minimum experience of 5 years in a post not below the rank of Sub-Officer in a well established whole time fire services organisation is essential. Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800 (PB-2). Age Limit : Between 18 to 40 years as on 01.07.2009.
V. Sub Officer/A : No of Post: 04 posts (UR-3, OBC-1), Essential Qualification & Experience : SSC or equivalent + Sub Officer’s Course from National Fire Services College OR from CISF Fire Training Centre. 5 years experience as Leading Fireman. Scale of Pay : Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 (PB-2). Age Limit : Between 18 to 40 years as on 01.07.2009.
VI. Leading Fireman/A : No of Post: 01 post for UR, Essential Qualification & Experience : SSC or equivalent. Experience as a Fireman in a well established Fire Service Organisation. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centre. Persons having valid Heavy vehicle driving licence will be given preference. Minimum experience of 8 years as Fireman/Driver-cum-Operator in a well established whole time fire services organisation is essential. Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2400 (PB-1). Age Limit : Between 18 to 32 years as on 01.07.2009.
VII. Fireman/A : No of Post: 20 posts ( UR-6, OBC- 1, SC-2, ST-1 ) for HWP (Talcher), Orissa. 09 ( UR-8, ST-1 ) for HWP (Kota), Rajasthan, 01 (ST) for HWP (Manuguru), Andhra Pradesh. Essential Qualification & Experience : SSC or equivalent. Persons having Certificate Course from State Fire Training Centres and having valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence will be given preference. Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 (PB-1). Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009.
VIII. Driver cum Operator/A : No of Post: 02 posts (UR-1, SC-1 ), Essential Qualification & Experience : SSC or equivalent with valid Heavy Vehicle Licence. Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 (PB-1). Age Limit : Between 18 to 32 years as on 01.07.2009.
IX. Technician/B (Crane Operator) : No of Post: 03 posts ( UR-2, OBC-1), Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum 60 % marks in SSC + Trade Certificate in Crane Operation of one year duration recognized by the Competent Authority. Knowledge in Operation and Maintenance of Coles/ Grove/ Escorts type mounted, Tata P&H Crawler Crane, 35 MT Tractor Trailor and Forklifts (Electrical & Diesel operated) is essential. Scale of Pay : Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 (PB-1). Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009.
X. Technician/B (Mechanic cum Dozer Operator) : No of Post: 01 post for OBC, Essential Qualification & Experience : Minimum 60 % marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Mathematics + Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanic of one year duration. Experience in the maintenance of 1000 KVA Diesel Generator, Terex Dozer Engines will be given preference. Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2000 (PB-1). Age Limit : Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.07.2009.
