Constable (General Duty) :No of Post : 9493 posts (UR-4867, SC-1528, ST-787, OBC-2311) in various states of India.Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 + Grade pay Rs 2000/-,Essential Qualification : Matriculation/ Higher Secondary or 10th class pass. Must have above 50% marks.Age Limit: Candidate should neither less than 18 years nor more than 23 years as on 01.08.2010. Relaxation as per rules.II. Constable (General Duty) :No of Post : 16000 posts (UR-8096, SC-2506, ST-1643, OBC-3755) in various Naxal affected states of India.Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200 to 20200 + Grade pay Rs 2000/-,Essential Qualification : Matriculation/ Higher Secondary or 10th class pass. Must have above 50% marks.Age Limit: Candidate should neither less than 18 years nor more than 23 years as on 01.08.2010. Relaxation as per rules.
