Central University of Jharkhand, CUJ, a Central Government initiative towards excellence in teaching, innovation and research in cutting-edge frontiers, was established in March 2009. Its temporary campus is located at Brambe, 22 kms away from the city of Ranchi. The permanent campus maybe anywhere in Jharkhand, as determined by the Government of Jharkhand. Presently, CUJ has the following non-teaching positions on regular/ deputation for the permanent posts of: I. Controller of Examination : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 grade pay Rs. 10000/-, Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale.II. Deputy Registrar : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs. 7600/-, Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale. Five years of experience as a Lecturer in a College.III. Assistant Librarian : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 AGP Rs. 6000/-, Minimum Qualifications: Ph. D. or qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by the UGC.IV. Assistant Registrar : No of Post : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 Rs. 5400/-, Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale. Five years of experience as Section Officer / Superintendent or in an equivalent post in Central University / similar institution.V. Section Officer : No of Post : 02 post, Pay Scale : 02 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 Rs. 4200/-, Minimum Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline.VI. Assistant : No of Post : 02 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-, Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 55% marks 3 years Experience as UDC / Office Assistant in State / Central /Universities.VII. Private Secretary to V.C. : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-, Minimum Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline with proficiency in English.VIII. Personal Assistant : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/-, Minimum Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline with proficiency in English.IX. Jr. Prof. Assistant : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 2800/-, Minimum Qualifications: B. Lib Information Science.X. Technical Assistant : No of Post : 02 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 2800/-, Minimum Qualifications: (M.Sc /B.E/ MCA) or (B.Sc./BCA/ 3-Year DiplomaCertificate + 3 years work experience) in computers.XI. UDC : No of Post : 02 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 2400/-, Minimum Qualifications: A graduate or its equivalent with at least 3 years experience as Jr. Office Assistant / Jr. Assistant in the Central/ State Universities. Computer typing speed of 50 w.p.m in English – to be tested.XII. LDC : No of Post : 02 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 1900/-, Minimum Qualifications: 10+2 or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. Computer typing speed of 50 w.p.m in English – to be tested.XIII. Driver : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 1900/-, Minimum Qualifications: SSC passed. Age Limit: Not more than 28 years.XIV. Lab. Attendant : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 1800/-, Minimum Qualifications: SSC or equivalent with Science subjects. Age Limit: Not more than 28 years.XV. Library Attendant : No of Post : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs. 1800/-, Minimum Qualifications: 10+2 or its equivalent with certificate course in Library Science from a recognized Institute. Age Limit: Not more than 28 years.
