Pallavan Grama Bank, PGB, Applications are invited for appointment in Officer Scale–I cadre and Clerk cum Cashier cadre in Pallavan Grama Bank. Officer Scale–I :No of Post : 32 posts (SC-4, ST-2, OBC-8, Gen-18) ,Pay Scale : Rs. 10000 to 18240/-,Age Limit : Minimum 21 & Maximum 30 Years as on 01.07.2009.Essential Educational Qualification :a) A Degree from any recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent. Knowledge of English and Tamil is essential.b) Candidates should possess proficiency of computer knowledge like knowledge in MS DOS, MS WORD, MS EXCEL and Networking etc.c) Candidates with higher qualification in Computer / Accounting / Management / Engineering / Business Administration / Law / Agriculture / Veterinary Science / M.Sc, Computer science / MCA / Chartered Accountant and Civil Engineering etc., will get preference over others.II. Clerk cum Cashier :No of Post : 40 posts (SC-7, OBC-10, Gen-23),Pay Scale : Rs. 4410 to 13210/-,Age Limit : Minimum 18 & Maximum 28 Years as on 01.07.2009.Essential Educational Qualification :a) Degree from a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent; ORb) Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of 10 + 2 + 3 pattern / 11 + 3 pattern / pre – degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate and a pass in the above examination for SC/ST candidates;• Diploma in Banking recognized by State or Central Government is preferred.• Knowledge of English and Tamil is essential.• Candidates should possess proficiency of computer knowledge like knowledge in MS DOS, MS WORD, MS EXCEL and Networking etc.
